1. Aim
To promote the physical and mental development of boys and girls to foster people who can contribute to international goodwill in the future.

2. Date and Time
Sunday, 7 August 2022.
Reception opens 9 am for 10 am start.

6. Entry fee
700 yen, including insurance

7. Entry qualifications
The tournament is open to male and female Primary School students in Grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6.
Any nationality or place of residence
Participation is limited to a maximum 20 members of any one group (group registration number is required)

8. Tournament format

(1) 1st Grade (Mixed Boys and Girls)
(2) 2nd Grade (Mixed Boys and Girls)
(3) 3rd Grade (Mixed Boys and Girls)
(4) 4th Grade Boys, Lightweight
(5) 4th Grade Boys, Heavyweight
(6) 5th Grade Boys, Lightweight
(7) 5th Grade Boys, Heavyweight
(8) 6th Grade Boys, Lightweight
(9) 6th Grade Boys, Heavyweight
(10) 4th Grade Girls, Lightweight
(11) 4th Grade Girls, Heavyweight
(12) 5th Grade Girls, Lightweight
(13) 5th Grade Girls, Heavyweight
(14) 6th Grade Girls, Lightweight
(15) 6th Grade Girls, Heavyweight

Players must wear a patch with their name and club name on the back of their judogi. 5th and 6h grade boys will be weighed in after the opening ceremony. Please follow the instructions from the reception 1st and 2nd grade players must wear a head protector to prevent injuries. Head protectors will be provided by the tournament organizer.

9. Rules
The tournament will be held in accordance with the International Judo Federation Referee Rules and special rules for junior tournaments, as well as agreed rules for this tournament.

10. Duration of Matches
Contests will be two (2) minutes' duration

11. Awards
The organizers will award a prize and a certificate to individuals in first, second and both third places.

12. Entry deadline
Please submit your entry by 4 July 2022

13. Others
The organizers will provide first aid for accidental injury or illness during the tournament but assume no further responsibility. (Please take out accident insurance and liability insurance.)
This tournament will be a non-spectator match to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection.

14. Application

*Men and women 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade will be divided into heavyweight and lightweight categories. The category will be decided by the organizer after the entry is completed.
